Started breaking at the age of seven.
He won the bronze medal at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. In 2020, he became the youngest-ever champion of the Red Bull BC One World Final. He then claimed three consecutive titles at the JDSF All Japan Breaking Championship in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

In 2023, he won the gold medal at the Asian Games, securing his place for the Paris 2024 Olympics. At the Paris 2024 Olympics, he served as a flag bearer at both the opening and closing ceremonies. With more than 50 international competition titles to his name, SHIGEKIX is widely recognized as one of Japan’s leading breakers.
